MDWSA seeks to expand our reach and effectiveness; to collaborate with organizations throughout the region; to create a regional showcase for adaptive water skiing; to elevate standards of accessibility and inclusion at area waterways; to promote a greater public awareness of those with disabilities; and to unite the community through adaptive water skiing that is a rewarding experience for participants, volunteers, and sponsors alike!
There are many ways to make DONATIONS to MDWSA. Along with VOLUNTEERS, MDWSA relies heavily on CASH donations, sponsorships, and pledges in order to fulfill its MISSION.

Our organization has no employees, our board members are all volunteer, we use all of the funds donated directly for the benefit of our mission. We are a 501c(3) and all donations are tax deductible. We are registered with the IRS and every donation will receive a contribution letter that can be used for your tax deduction on your tax return.

With the funds you donated in 2020 MDWSA was able to purchase Beach Trax Access Mats. These durable, lightweight, fold-able and easily transportable wheelchair mats will allow for easier access across the sand and into the water. In the past, we have used plywood sheets which are heavy, result in a large gap between the sections and have to be dried out completely before we can store them . These were a HUGE benefit for us in 2021. THANK YOU DONORS!
In 2018 YOUR donations allowed MDWSA to purchase a new trailer. We have over 30 adaptive water skies valued over $3,000 each. MDWSA also maintains other equipment that includes life jackets, AstroTurf, water chairs, tow ropes, outriggers and much more! This equipment is necessary gear to make adaptive water skiing possible. Due to our continued growth we ran out of space in our old trailer. By purchasing the new trailer we now house all of our equipment in one location. THANK YOU DONORS!
YOUR DONATIONS HELP GIVE CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITES THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME! By giving to MDWSA, we are able to provide a safe, fun and extremely memorable water ski experience. MDWSA strives to keep our operating expenses at a minimum. Our board members, as well as everyone “working” at our events are ALL volunteers which means we have absolutely no paid positions; this allows us to utilize your financial gifts to their fullest capacity. For the past 15 years, the goal of MDWSA has been to directly benefit the lives of people with disabilities. It is because of your generous donation that we are able to continue on with this mission.
