Every year for some 39 years now, a “St. Louis tradition” has taken place called the New Years Day Polar Bear Water Ski. You are invited to participate this year as a Polar Bear Sponsor, Polar Bear Skier, Polar Bear Donor, and Polar Bear Spectator. Your cheers will be greatly appreciated during the New Years Day Polar Bear Water Ski down on the St. Louis Riverfront right under the Gateway Arch New Years Day.
We are asking you at this time to consider supporting MDWSA by becoming a Sponsor of the New Years Day Polar Bear Water Ski. Your sponsorship and participation will make it possible for us to continue to grow this organization, purchase specialized adaptive water ski equipment, and provide adaptive water ski clinic(s) in 2015. Water ski equipment for the disabled is specialized gear and quite expensive. Each specialized water ski board costs $2000.

POLAR BEAR WATER SKI
at the St. Louis Arch

NOTICE:
S Leonor K Sullivan Blvd (Levee Road) – CLOSED from Arch Steps to Chouteau
Recommend entering S Leonor K Sullivan NORTH of the arch,
such as Washington, Lucas, or ML King Drive next to the MLK Bridge
SHOW CENTER will be close to normal spot, near helicopter barge.

New Year’s Eve (Updated at 1953 on 12/31/13):
Weather for the event will be decent …
39F predicted at NOON … winds VAR@5-8mph
40% chance of snow after 3pm

SKIING STARTS AT NOON SHARP!!!
